You may have already heard, seen, or driven by the new Buffalo Heights District development currently underway at Washington Ave between South Heights Boulevard and Studemont Street.
If you’re new to Houston you may be asking yourself, what is Buffalo Heights? Buffalo Heights is a 50-acre mixed-use development that is going to transform the growing Memorial Heights area. Located just minutes from the hustle and bustle the downtown, and the recently redeveloped Buffalo Bayou with miles of hike and bike trails.

The CEO of Midway the developer of the project recently said in a release ““This first phase will be a catalyst for more innovative and transformational developments to come.”
H-E-B, the anchor for the upscale apartments will have a grab and go walk-up concept for coffee/quick bites to eat and an on-site dining option. Creating a unique metropolitan setup that differentiates it from its’ traditional suburban siblings. In addition, there will be a the multi-level parking garage set aside for grocery shoppers. If you’re familiar with H-E-B you know there’s nothing like this yet in Houston.
